After eating breakfast when Sam goes to do dishes:
Sam: -Puts them in the water and goes to wash them-
Mary: I got them Sam, you go relax before work.
Sam: -Chuckles- Isn't it weird how now you always tell me to just relax when I want to help? -Turns to look at his mom- Before you had to beg for my help when I was younger but you don't want it?
Mary: -Smiles- Yes, it is weird. But now Sam, you have other priorities. You have a daughter, a wife and hopefully a son on the way.
Sam: -Smiles- How do you know I want a son?
Mary: Because every father wants a son who he can play catch with or play ball with.
Sam: -Looks at her and then turns around, realizing something-
Mary: -Sees him turn around and then walks over to him, rubbing his back- Did I say something wrong?
Sam: No, you said the truth but it is just, I came to realize that I might not be able to do that if I have a son in Vegas.
Mary: Sweetie, you will. You will find a way because there are endless possibilities in Las Vegas.
Sam: -Sighs as he looks out the window- The question I am starting to think about now is how am I going to balance 2 kids, a Vegas show, making sure Beth has her education, making sure our baby is calm enough yet also finding time to both get practice in. With Quinn too because we will have duets. Uhm, I think we are doing Lucky and (I've Had) the Time of My Life.
Mary: Wait, how do you know those songs? They are old.
Sam: Thank Mr. Schuester for that. And speaking of Mr. Schuester, we need to go to his school. Beth, shoe time.
Beth: Okay dad. -Goes to put her shoes on-
Sam: -Goes to grab her bag smiling- I got it Quinn, just go get ready.
Quinn: Thanks. Oh, think on the way we can go get something at Starbucks?
Sam: -Looks at the time- Auditions are in 20 so unfortunately it is not on the way.
Quinn: You owe me.
Sam: -Chuckles- Have a good day mom. -Goes to grab Quinn's hand, leading her out to their card to take Beth to school-
