Calling Vegas: Audition Format Part 1

Celine: Okay, first we do preliminary auditions in Las Vegas, New York City and Ohio. From there, you follow a process. Okay, so lets start with Las Vegas. First, you have preliminaries in front of the entire Board of Directors excluding myself. Then, you have a dancers showcase judged by Mercedes, Carmen and Amanda. Amanda and Mercedes would then do the first cut.

Rachel: How long are these auditions going to take?
Celine: A good couple of months to get a big cast like you will need to do the length of a show you need. Next, still in Las Vegas, you do a singers showcase with myself, Sebastian and Amanda. The first cut for them would be done by Myself and Sebastian. They would then go onto a combined showcase judged by myself, Carmen, Rachel and Jesse before having a cut. The final audition would be in front of the entire board of directors. And that would be the cast from Las Vegas, first round. That is just to get a group from Las Vegas. Then we go on to New York City where you follow a similar order. First you do preliminary auditions with the entire board, excluding myself. Then, you do a dancers showcase with Mercedes, Amanda and Sebastian judging. Mercedes and Amanda would then make the first cut. Then, Rachel, Jesse, Mercedes and Sebastian would do the first round of vocal auditions, followed by a first cut by Mercedes and Sebastian. Then you go to NYADA where Kurt and Carmen can do auditions, followed by a second round with Carmen, Blaine, Kurt and Mercedes making that cut. Then you do a dancers showcase with Mercedes, Carmen and Amanda making the cuts. Next you do a singers showcase, judged by Rachel, Jesse, Mercedes and Sebastian, with a cut following, then you have recalls judged by Mercedes, Jesse and Rachel before a final judgement with the entire Board excluding myself. Next you go on to do your school. First, you can invite your principal to help you and Sam, Quinn, Rachel, Mercedes and him can do the preliminaries. Mercedes and Amanda can then do dancers showcase followed by a singers showcase with them again as well as Sam, Quinn, Rachel and Jesse.  Then, the ones you select from Lima move on to the next round in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
