One week later when Rachel and Jesse arrive at Dalton-McKinley:
Jesse: -Pulls up to their usual spot and smiles- Wow, talk about coincidences. I mean we are gone for a week and now we are back in the same spot.
Rachel: This was our parking spot.
Carmen: -Riding in their van with them before getting out- Ah, so this is your alma mater Rachel. Dalton-McKinley Academy for the Performing Arts. Very impressive.
Rachel: Actually, at the time it was just a regular high school. It wasn't actually a Performing Arts Academy until this year. -Gets out smiling- Trust me though, you will soon meet the man who made it all possible.
Jesse: Yes and today you get to speak to your students once again at an assembly if you recall, They want us to talk about why we have returned and why we left in the first place.
Rachel: Yes, I wrote a peech. -Goes to grab Michael and smiles as she puts him in the stroller- But right now, there is just one person I want to see.
Sue: -Heard of her return to Lima and is waiting for her-
Rachel: -Walks out and then feels the splash of a slushie in her face- Welcome back Mrs. Berry.
Jesse: -Looks at her- Sue! -Goes to check on Rachel- You okay?
Rachel: Physically, yes. Mentally, a little. Emotionally, right where I belong. Now if you don't mind I am going to go do my signature Rachel Berry clean up in the staff washroom.
Jesse: Go ahead and I will talk to her. -Looks at Sue- Mad. Uhm, Carmen can you just go inside with Rachel?
Carmen: Of course. -Follows her in-
Jesse: -Turns to look at Sue- Okay lady, I have some words for you.
Sue: Really, what are they?

Chapter 95

Jesse: First, I am going to say that you shouldn't have done that because I am already mad at you. Do you know who I am?
Sue: Yes, Mr. Jesse Berry. And I am Susan Sylvester, Head Coach of the Vocal Adrenaline choir.
Jesse: No, Jesse St. James. Broadway Alumni and Vocal Adrenaline superstar. -Goes to grab his phone- And normally, when their start quarterback of Vocal Adrenaline and calls to report their coach, they are not happy. -Goes to call the school-

Phone Call:
Secretary: Hello, Carmel High School, how may I help you?
Jesse: Hi, this is Jesse St. James calling.
Secretary: Oh Jesse, how are you?
Jesse: Yes, I am here at Dalton-McKinle yand I would like to report an incident which just occured between my wife and the coach of Vocal Adrenaline Susan Sylvester.
Secretary: Here, let me put you through to the principal Jesse.
Jesse: -Smiles at Sue and covers the mic of his phone- I am going to the Principal. -Smiles at her before waiting on the line-

Chapter 96

Meanwhile inside as Rachel talks to Will:
Rachel: -Whipes herself off, cleaning off the slushie- I swear, it is like I am back to being a student here.
Will: Don't say that strip star.
Rachel: -Chuckles- You mad I took most of your staff?
Will: Of course not, I took over part-time and Holly Holliday is back full-time here.
Rachel: -Smiles- Well, sounds good. Now, what do you think of me taking students?
Will: I am going to let them go if they want to. I mean, Las Vegas. Wow, I was tempted to go but I couldn't.

Rachel: We miss you there Mr. Schue, we see everybody. Mike, Tina, Artie, Mercedes, Sam, Quinn, Beth and many more.
Will: So, how many rooms do you need?
Rachel: We were hoping for 4. Preliminary Auditions and then individual groups.
Will: Have this all planned out I guess?
Rachel: Yes. Oh, actually, I have something for you. -Goes to grab tickets-
Will: Wow Rachel, Celine tickets?
Rachel: No. Dalton-McKinley in Vegas tickets. They aren't designed yet but we talked with the company and we get to give out slips instead. I will send you tickets when they are available. Just send that back to me when you get them for security purposes.
Will: Get it. -Smiles-
Rachel: We have a lot of fun there. We are staying at Caesars Palace actually.
Will: Woah, like in the hotel?
Rachel: Live, Work and Play all at the same lace.
Will: -Chuckles as he looks at her, happy to have her back-

Chapter 97

Meanwhile with the Smythe family:
Sebastian: -Smiles as he stands in the master bedroom of their Lima home, kissing Amanda slowly as he wraps his arms around her- How does it feel to really be back at home like our home, home?
Amanda; -Goes to grab his neck smiling and then kisses him smiling- You will have to show me around sometime.
Sebastian: I told the group we might stay back after for a while so you can just relax alone with me for a bit.
Amanda: -Smiles- What do we have to do today?
Sebastian: Well first, after eating breakfast, we need to go drop off Melissa at school.

Amanda: How did you get her back in school temporarily?
Sebastian: I talked to the principal. He is my old boss. He understands that we need somebody to oversee her education other than you, they will catch her up. And at the same time, we can work.
Amanda: Okay. Well, I am going to go make her a lunch.
Sebastian: Go ahead, uhm, her lunchbox is in the cupboard down below the sink, two doors left. Uhm, no nuts allowed.
Amanda: Okay.

Sebastian: If you need help, Melissa knows.
Amanda: -Smiles-
Sebastian: -Grabs her neck smiling and goes to kiss her softly- Let me go wake her up and I will come join you after.
Amanda: I love you.
Sebstian: I love you too.
Amanda: -Smiles before leaving to go to the kitchen-
Sebastian: -Smiles as he walks out of his bedroom before going to wake up Melissa for school-

Chapter 98

After walking into Melissa's room:
Sebastian: -Goes to sit next to her, rubbing her back- Wake up Melissa. Time to go visit your friends here in Ohio.
Melissa: -Starts to wake up smiling- Finally, we are back.
Sebastian: Melissa, you do know we are just visiting right? We are going back to Las Vegas after. Mom and me have a job there now and this is part of our job.
Melissa: But my friends.
Sebastian: Sweetie, I know it's hard but you will make friends. In Las Vegas. Sweetie, this is a big opportunity for me and your mom and we had to take it. We are too invisted now sweetie, we put a lot of work into his show and we have to go back after Christmas. Is that okay?

Melissa: I guess.
Sebastian: Plus, wouldn't you rather have Christmas in summer than winter?
Melissa: -Chuckles-
Sebastian: Sweetie, I promise, someday we will comeback for good but for now, our home is in Las Vegas. Right now, this is just temporary and a good chance to say hi to your friends.
Melissa: -Nods-
Sebastian: Are you okay with this? Because we will stay if it makes you happy. Me and mom agreed, you will always come first. I thought you were happy there with all the pools and stuff. Plus, Beth is there.

Melissa: I never get to play with her though.
Sebastian; That is becauses we are really busy right now. We are getting a lot of big decisions done. Maybe when it starts to calm down you can visit her or when mom is ready to handle it. Baby girl, you remember what I told you about your mom? I told you she can't take too much stress. Please sweetie, can you understand?
Melissa: Yes, I can.
Sebastian: For now though baby girl, have fun and enjoy the snow with your friends while you are here. Promise me you will have fun while we are visiting. We will go see Grandma and Grandpa. And more. We will do things but we are working too. We are working for our Vegas Show. Are you okay with that?
Melissa: -Nods- I just wish I had a school there.
Sebastian: We will start that in the new year sweetie. Like I said, we are busy. Let us start and then we can do things. Now, can you go get dressed and help your mom with your lunch box?
Melissa: Okay.
Sebastian: Hey, look at me. I love you and would do anything to keep you happy but remember, I need to be happy to. You are my world but I need to do this now.
Melissa: -Goes to hug her dad-
Sebastian: -Smiles as he hugs her and tears up-
Melissa: -Smiles as she hugs him, understanding what is happening before getting up to go get dressed-
Sebastian: -Smiles before getting up to go join Amanda downstairs-

Chapter 99.1

After letting Melissa get ready when Sebastian comes downstairs:
Sebastian: -Walks into the kitchen behind Amanda and then cuddles up to her, wrapping his arms around her-
Amanda: -Leans back smiling and lays her head down- Oh, now this is comfortable.
Sebastian: -Chuckles as he lets a tear out-
Amanda: -Sees a tear fall before turning around to look at him- What's wrong Sebastian, you're crying.
Sebastian: -Grabs her waist and looks at her-
Amanda: -Puts her hand on his neck and sighs as she holds him before turning his head and kissing him softly- Tell me what's wrong baby. -Runs a hand down his chest-

Sebastian: Melissa wants to stay, I am so torn. Amanda, I need the honest truth. Am I thinking of myself too much right now and not enough about what our daughter wants?
Amanda: -Goes to grab his neck and rubs his cheek- No Sebastian. You have a job opportunity in Las Vegas and so do I. Yes, does it concern me that she is seeing her friends temporarily and then leaving? Yes because it may hurt. But we have to think about our commitments now. Our job is in Las Vegas and this is just work, I want to do the show and so do you. Melissa will start school there in the new year and it will all be okay.
Sebastian: How do you always know what to say?
Amanda: -Smiles as she goes to kiss him- Because I am the woman you love and I am the one you have an everlasting connection with.

Sebastian: -Smiles as he kisses her softly- I love you so much and I am glad that you are with me again. No more leaving each other.
Amanda: Considering I have learned from my mistakes, definatively.
Sebastian: -Smiles as he goes to kiss her again smiling, happy that she helped him feel better-
Amanda: Oh, by the way, I want to talk to you about something, Maybe it will help chear you up. And it is really nice to tell you at home.
Sebastian: What?
Amanda: I wanted to wait to tell you until Christmas but Sebastian, look at me.
Sebastian: What?
Amanda: -Looks at her husband in his eyes smiling- Daddy. -Rubs his cheek smiling-
Sebastian: What? You mean? -Goes to grab her waist-
Amanda: -Nods-

Chapter 99.2

Sebastian: What? How? I mean, we did it once or twice but really?
Amanda: -Smiles as she grabs his neck and kisses him softly-
Sebastian: -Goes to grab her neck and kisses her smiling- Looks like someone is on rest mode now. I am going to have to find someone else to dance to Live While We're Young with.
Amanda: -Smiles as she kisses him softly- I love you Sebastian and to think, 6 years later.
Sebastian: Oh wow, so want to keep this between us for now? Or should we tell Melissa?
Melissa: -Comes in- Tell me what dad?

Amanda: -Smiles as she grabs his jacket-
Melissa: What?
Sebastian: -Smiles at Amanda and then rubs her waist- Melissa, what do you think about having a baby brother or sister?
Melissa: -Confused-
Sebastian: -Looks at her and smiles before going to lean down and grab her hands- Melissa, mommy is going to have a baby.
Melissa: What?
Sebastian: You are going to have a baby brother or sister.
Melissa: -Smiles- Yay! I have to tell this to my friends.
Sebastian: -Smiles- I have to tell my friends too.
Amanda: Uhm, can you handle Mercedes? I know you have history.
Sebastian: -Gets up and then goes to look at her, grabbing her waist- I can take care of telling our friends. I love you so much but we need to get going. I want to visit too because we are going to mentor the team while we are here.
Amanda: -Smiles- I love you so much Sebastian. -Goes to kiss him smiling- Uhm, Melissa, breakfast is ready. -Goes to grab it for her-
Sebastian: -Chuckles as he goes to grab some cereal-
Amanda: -Smiles at her husband-
Sebastian: -Goes to grab his pills and sees Amanda took hers too- Oh uhm, Melissa, can you give me and mom a second, I just remembered I need to talk to her about something. -Poars her a bowl of cereal- Here is some cereal, can you go eat?
Melissa: -Nods and then goes to eat-
Amanda: Is everything okay? -Whispers- I took my pills-

Chapter 99.3

Sebastian: I know. -Grabs her neck and looks at her- I want you to stop just for now okay?
Amanda: Sebastian, I can't, you know what happened.
Sebastian: I know but there is a reason I am asking. -Goes to grab her waist-
Amanda: Is it because you want me to go out of control again? -Pushes him off- I thought you wanted this baby with me.
Sebastian: No baby, no. Listen to me first. -Grabs her hand and holds her close- I don't know the side effects of the pills. I don't know how they might affect your body. I don't know if they will hurt the baby or not. They are strong pills and big doses. Baby, I know I said you had to take them for your safety but now, there is someone else to think about. The baby. Please, don't get mad, it is just a worry.

Amanda: -Sighs- How about I keep taking them but, we go to the doctors ASAP? If the doctors need to change my medicine, then I will stop. But until then, I can't. We made a deal. I can't do it Sebastian because...-tears up a bit-...
Sebastian: Sh...calm down, tell me.
Amanda: I can't loose you again, especially not now. I need you.
Sebastian: Baby, I am not going anywhere this time. I am here to help you with the baby and your pregnancy. I love you and I will be with you from now, to each appointment, to each emergency, to each craving, to the birth, to each milestone in our child's life. But Amanda, there is a reason. I would rather have you safe at home without pills and have our baby safe as well because you are here than have you take your pills and have them cause problems. Do you understand? Your medicine is importnant baby, but right now, so is our baby. Just control yourself, stay at home and relax. We will go to the doctor, we will get this sorted out but for now, I can't take the risk. Please Amanda, think of the baby and how your powerful medicine can cause it problems. I know it causes you problems, pain, stress and more but you can control it because I believe in you. I love you and I believe in you. What I don't believe in is that those pills you are taking have no effect on your pregnancy. Baby, those pills are too strong to even try and take them during this. Way too strong. I need you to do this for me. I need you too and I need you to do this for us. I promise.
Amanda: -Sighs- I will go to the doctors today after you come back. Okay? I am going there. I am going right away. I will make an appointment. I need to know Sebastian really fast. It is too risky.
Sebastian: You are right and I am sorry for getting mad when I begged you to take them but right now, we need to get to the doctors maybe. I will call in and say that I have to take care of you first okay? I will take you this moorning and then we will go to work together. Okay? Let me make a phone call and then we will eat breakfast.
Amanda: I love you Sebastian.
Sebastian: I love you too. -Kisses her softly before going to make his phone call-

Chapter 100

Meanwhile at Dalton-McKinley:
Jesse: -Takes the call from Sebastian as they get set up in the auditorium-
Rachel: -Sitting next to him-
Jesse: Okay, we understand. Go take care of her and congratulations...Okay. Bye Sebastian. -Hangs up-
Rachel: What was that about?
Jesse: Sebastian isn't coming in for auditions today.
Rachel: What? That is why we came.

Jesse: He has to take care of his wife first. He might come this afternoon. She is pregnant and apparently, she has medicine which may cause problems during the pregnancy.
Rachel: We agreed that we would do this together though.
Jesse: Rachel, he is getting the day off okay?
Rachel: Jesse, you can't just do that, we need him.
Jesse: Rachel, I would do the same exact thing if you were pregnant and needed me. Rachel, think about it. Would you want to loose a baby to medicine that is suppose to help you?
Rachel: Okay. I get it. I am sorry, I am just stressed now.
Jesse: Listen, how about we take a walk. We can go look at your trophies.
Rachel: -Smiles as he looks at him- Okay.
Jesse: -Chuckles as he gets up before grabbing her hand, intertwining their fingers before leading her away to the Glee Room-

Rachel: Wow guys, your voices are so much better than when we were last here. Wow.
Jesse: How are you all?

Mason: Wow, you are doing a Vegas show? It'll be fun for you to be there every night.
Rachel: And you guys can be there too if you want?

Rachel: We are here doing auditions and we all want you to audition in front of our panel. But to be honest, since we all know you so well, you are definatively a shoein.
Will: There goes the Glee Club.
Rachel: Sorry Mr. Schuester, we want to offer our friends help first. Now, how about we take your to the stage and you can officially audition for us.

Jesse: Well, practice for now, we have to wait until the full panel is here.

Meanwhile at the front door with Sebastian:

Sebastian: Yes. Now, I need to go check her in with Janice. C'mon Melissa, lets go see the secretary.
Amanda: Maybe I can meet the staff Sebastian? I mean, she is my daughter too.
Sebastian: Of course, she is safe here, I promise. I talked to Will, she is safe.
Janice: -Goes to sit at her desk-

Sebastian: -Walks in- How are you today Janice?
Janice: -Turns to look at Sebastian- Sebastian, how are you doing? Decided the Vegas spotlight wasn't for you?
Sebastian: -Chuckles- We are just here temporarily. I sent in the papers for Melissa if I recall.
Janice: -Goes to check her desk- Ah yes and you will be glad to know that we have waived the entrance fee as you are former staff.
Sebastian: I will be around here a lot though so make sure that if she is bad, you call me to the office and we will punish her.
Amanda: Sebastian, think maybe I can go walk around with her?
Sebastian: No, I am still taking you remember? We are just here quickly. Maybe later. I still have to take you to uhm...

Amanda: Right. When we are back.

Janice: How long are you back Sebastian?
Sebastian: Until the new year, staying for Christmas. Just easier to have the education done professionally. Might come to mentor but not too much as I still have my meetings via conference.

Sebastian: It is coming along. We have a Board of Governors to lead the show so it helps.
Janice: -Chuckles- Like in Glee?
Sebastian: We are going to do it that style again but really, I must be going.
Janice: Okay, have a good time here and make sure you come visit.
Sebastian: When we can. Oh, what class is she in?
Janice: Glee first.
Sebastian: Thanks. -Goes to catch up smiling-

When Sebastian finally catches up to Melissa:
Melissa: -Walks into her class and smiles- And this is where I sang Break Free with dad on the first day. It was fun.
Amanda: I bet it was. Your dad was always able to hit those high notes. -Smiles-
Melissa: -Smiles when she sees her dad-
Sebastian: You talking about Break Free again baby girl?
Melissa: -Smiles at him-

Sebastian: -Knows she wants to sing to he humors her-

Jesse: -Chuckles- Sorry. I have to agree, you were amazing. And it just makes it better that it had so much passion in it.

Sebastian: -Smiles-
Rachel: I thought you weren't going to be here this morning?
Sebastian: -Goes to look at the time- We should actually get going Amanda. We have that thing.
Sebastian: -Smiles-

Rachel: -Smiles at them- Go ahead, we can delay some auditions.
Sebastian: No, I trust you. What we need to do is far more important.
Amanda: -Looks at him and grabs his hand, intertwining their fingers-
Sebastian: -Gets up and looks at her- Lets get going.
Amanda: -Looks at him and walks out of the school smiling-
Jesse: See you later.

Sebastian: Oh wait a second. -Goes to look at Melissa- Melissa, come here. -Walks over to her and hugs her- Be a good girl okay? Can you stay with Mrs. St. James until class starts?
Will: I can watch her Sebastian and lead her to class.
Sebastian: Thanks Will. We will be back later.
Amanda: -Smiles at her husband-
Sebastian: -Smiles to lead her out so hat he can take her to see her doctor-

Chapter 106

After driving her to the doctor's office when Sebastian parks the car:
Amanda: -Stares at the building and gets scared-
Sebastian: -Looks at her- Ready to go?
Amanda: I can't Sebastian.
Sebastian: Amanda, I know this is hard but if you want, we can stay here in Ohio and I can work. That is the only way to avoid this. You would have to stay home though. You can't be without pills baby. I love you too much. This is the only way you can live your life without me. Please baby, come with me and we can do it together. I am not leaving your side until we are back at school. Then, you can go watch Melissa and we can watch Glee, help out there today. Today, we will have fun. No auditions, just fun.
Amanda: But....
Sebastian: I told them, your health comes first. I know I promised them I would help today but I can't. We are going to go mentor some kids, they will let me. I promise.
Amanda: Talk to the principal first.
Sebastian: I will but only if you go into the Doctor's office.
Amanda: Deal.
Sebastian: -Smiles as he gets out of the car with her and then leads her into the Doctor's office- Together, I am not leaving your side today.
Amanda: -Smiles at him-
Sebastian: -Leads her in and goes to help her with her doctor's appointment-

Chapter 107

An hour later when Amanda is done her appointment:
Sebastian: -Smiles as he stands in the school parking lot with her- You did a good job. See, when we conquer things together, we are good. I promise, together.
Amanda: -Smiles as she rubs his arms and then leans in to kiss him- I love you.
Sebastian: I love you too. -Smiles as he kisses her slowly before grabbing her hand and leading her towards the building-
Amanda: -Smiles as she intertwines their fingers-

Amanda's POV: I swear, Sebastian is the best guy ever. Thank you Lord for blessing me with this baby, my husband and my family. So blessed.

Sebastian: -Leads her into the office once again-
Amanda: -Smiles as they go talk to Will-

Meanwhile in the Office:
Will: -Talking to Janice, the secretary-
Sebastian: Will?
Will: -Turns around to look at them- Oh hey Sebastian, they are still in the auditorium.
Sebastian: Actually, I was hoping that maybe we could help out today with something else?
Will: -Walks over to the front desk- What do you mean?
Sebastian: I want Amanda to relax today because we just went to a doctor's appointment. Long story but think maybe we can volunteer in my former role and help with Melissa?
Will: Oh, of course.
Sebastian: -Smiles- Where would she be right now just curious?

Will: Uhm, the junior team would be in english right now.
Sebastian: She is back on the team?
Will: As long as you are here she can be on the team. Returning member.
Sebastian: -Smiles- I am not sure how long we will be here but maybe I might ask to stay for a while. Fill in my old job?
Will: Once you figure out how long you are going to stay, go ahead.
Amanda: Can I just volunteer as a parent then?
Will: Of course. Oh, pleasure to meet you Mrs. Smythe. William Schuester, principal.
Amanda: Amanda works. -Goes to shake his hand- Uhm, do you mind I talk to him quickly Sebastian? I can do it. Go see Melissa.
Sebastian: Sure. -Smiles as he walks away-
Will: -Waits until he is gone- So, what do you need to talk to me about?

Amanda: I just wanted to know what the school is like. I like to know who the teachers are, trust issues. I know Sebastian trusts you guys but I don't know you.
Will: Let me assue you Ma'am. Your daughter is safe here because her father is a friend of mine now, she will be watched. Especially since you will be here.
Amanda: -Smiles- Okay, well maybe I should catch up to him.
Will: Room 118.
Amanda: Thank you. -Goes to run and catch up to Sebastian.

Chapter 108

Meanwhile in the english class:
Sebastian: -Sitting next to Melissa- C'mon Melissa, you know this. How do you do this verb?
Mr. Jameson: -Comes to see him- Sorry, who are you?
Sebastian: Sorry sir, I am her father. -Gets up and shakes his hand- And a teacher. Sebastian Smythe.
Mr. Jameson: Oh, I am sorry. Welcome back.
Sebastian: I hope you don't mind that I help her out a bit today. I am a teacher but we are taking it low.

Mr. Jameson: Mind helping other students as well?
Sebastian: Uhm, actually, my wife is going to help too if that is okay?
Mr. Jameson: Did Will say yes?
Sebastian: Yes but maybe she can just help. I might go to work in Glee. uhm, your mom can help you right Melissa.
Melissa: Yes dad.

Amanda: -Comes in-
Mr. Jameson: Ah, you must be Melissa's mom.
Sebastian: -Walks over to her smiling- Listen, it is too small to have me work with her. You work with her okay? I am going to go do show stuff. Relax and just remember, breathe and you are okay.
Amanda: Okay. -Kisses him smiling- Now, go to work.
Sebastian: -Chuckles as he leaves-

Mr. Jameson: Pleasure to meet you Mrs. Smythe.
Amanda: -Shakes his hand- Sorry about my husband, he really likes to help.
Mr. Jameson: Pleasure to have help. Can you help with the group too?
Amanda: Sorry sir, I would rather just help with my daughter. I uhm, have some problems.
Mr. Jameson: Okay, I get it well, welcome to the class.
Amanda: You know what, if they come and ask me, I will try just keep it low.
Mr. Jameson: Of course. -Smiles at her before going back to teach-
Amanda: -Goes to sit next to Melissa- What are we working on Melissa? -Whispers to her-
Melissa: Verbs. -Looks at her and smiles-
Amanda: Okay. -Goes to check on what she is doing and smiles, seeing she is doing very well-
Sebastian: -Looks in the classroom window before he leaves before going to help in Glee.

Chapter 109

After walking to the auditorium:
Sebastian: -Walks over to the panel to see them talking-
Rachel: -Doesn't hear him walk up-
Sebastian: -Goes to sit at the desk- Told you I wouldn't let you down Rachel.
Rachel: -Turns to see Sebastian and smiles- Hey. Everything okay?
Sebastian: -Chuckles and smiles- Couldn't be better.
Rachel: Oh right, come here. -Gets up and then goes to hug him- Congratulations.

Sebastian: -Smiles-
Rachel: Well, I know we heard earlier but I didn't say it in person.
Sebastian: -Chuckles as he goes to sit down- Okay, so who auditioned so far?
Rachel: We delayed the auditions until you got here. They are just practicing for a group number first.
Will: -Leading them with some help-

Mercedes: -Watching them with Mike- Okay girls, I get you are missing a female mentor but remember, you are not robots. Do it gracefully and with feminine pride. -Goes to demonstrate the dance- Keep your elbows bent, keep it flowing and keep it easy on your joints.
Mike: And guys, always keep your eyes moving, connect with your audience yet also, make sure you dance with the girls right.
Guys: -Go to grab a girl-

Spencer: Do we have to? I mean me and Alistair.
Mike: Right...uhm, can you maybe just dance to the beat together?
Alistair: Sure.
Mercedes: -Turns to look at them and speaks int he mic- Are you guys coming to Vegas if you get in Spencer and Alistair?
Alistair: I will for sure.
Spencer: Have to talk to my parents first.
Mercedes: Okay.

Jane: -Smiles as she goes to dance with Mason-
Mason: -Dancing easily with her-
Sebastian: Woah, look at Mason and Jane. I mean, they are great.
Mason: -Not listening and just concaentrating on a dance-
Mercedes: -Watches them and then goes to get up- Okay, cut for a moment and clear to the back of the stage except for Jane and Mason.

Jane: -Turns to look at her confused-
Mercedes: -Walks over to the stage smiling-

Chapter 110

When Mercedes is on the stage:
Jane: -Standing there with Mason-
Mercedes: Okay so I have an idea in what song we can use you. It is slow but you will have to bear with us because we don't have the choreography set up.
Jane: Okay.
Mercedes: -Turns to look at the panel- Guys, do you think Marley and Ryder would mind having back up and more couples dancing with them for A Thousand Years?
Rachel: I like the idea and I am sure they will be.
Mercedes: Okay. So this is a slow song. Oh and then after Jane, I want you to perform your original Dalton audition. We might use that in the show.

Jane: Why?
Mercedes: The show is about how our schools merged and how we together, it will be near the start to we thought it would be good to include Tightrope in the show.
Jane: I would have to practice it.
Rachel: We are here for a few days so we can get you later.
Mason: -Smiles at his girlfriend-
Mercedes: Okay, but maybe right now we should get some choreography for A Thousand Years started. Do you mind?
Rachel: I like that idea. But first we better video conference with Marley and Ryder.
Mercedes: -Turns around and loks at Rachel- Lets just get the choreography ready first okay?
Rachel: Okay.
Mercedes: -Smiles- Okay, others maybe you can either think of songs you want to audition with or just go practice somewhere.
Everybody: -Nods and leave except Jane and Mason-

Chapter 111

Once she is alone with Jane and Mason:
Mercedes: Okay, before you go thinking A Thousand Years is just your song, it isn't. Other couples such as Ryder and Marley will be joining you and they will be taking lead. Would you be okay taking back up vocals?
Mason: Maybe but we would have to hear the song first.
Mercedes: Here uhm, Rachel, I think I have my Laptop set up with the sound system. Can you get it through iTunes?

Rachel: Got it. -Goes to find the song and plays it-
Mercedes: Okay. Now this is the song we would be doing the dance to.
Mason: -Looks at Jane- Slow, so it can take time.
Mercedes: Put it on repeat Rachel so we can work on it. Now we are not going to have you close the entire time. It is mostly just dancing around each other if I recall. Uhm, maybe if we get some examples? Rachel, Jesse?

Jesse: -Looks at her- Uhm, sure. -Goes to get up, walking to the stage with Rachel-
Rachel: -Smiles, a little nervous- Jesse, I can't do it yet.
Jesse: -Turns to look at her- Why not?
Rachel: It is too soon after my pregnancy. I am still recovering, wanting to sit.
Jesse: Okay, I will dance with Mercedes then. -Smiles before going to the stage-
Mercedes: -Smiles- Or you can dnace with Jane and we can teach them at the same time?
Jesse: Okay. -Goes to get on stage smiling- Okay now this will be a ballroom dance style so it is an easy dance. You ready?
Mercedes: -Smiles- Come here Mason. -Goes to grab his hands- Okay, now it is a classic dance. Hand on waist and hold mine.
Mason: -Gets nervous but follows-

Jesse: -Looks at Jane and keeps it appropriate- Actually Mercedes, how about we demonstrate first, they are obviously awkward. Okay? We can be professional.
Mercedes: Good idea. Go stand over on the side okay guys.
Mason and Jane: -Do as they are told-
Jesse: -Goes to get in position-
Mercedes: Simple dance steps, follow my lead.
Jesse: Okay. -Smiles at her-
Mercedes: Hit it Rachel.
Rachel: -Goes to start the music and watches-

Chapter 112.1

Once they are ready to start:
Jesse: -Looks at her and prepares to start-
Mercedes: -Looks at him and thinks of something-
Jesse: -About to get in position-
Mercedes: Actually, hold on. Maybe we shouldn't do a waltz in this. I remember when Marley performed this, they daned apart and it was much nicer.
Rachel: -Chuckles- You just don't want to dance with my husband.
Mercedes: That and it is hard enough to do it when it is so sexual. Awkward. Now, let me try something. -Goes to the back of the stage- Join in if you see moves Jesse. Start the music.

Rachel: -Starts it-
Mercedes: -Listens to the beat and walks up slowly, singing along-
Rachel: -Watches her dance gracefully-
Mercedes: -Walks around and gets close to the front of the stage-
Jesse: -Gets and idea-
Mercedes: Afraid to fall..
Jesse: -Catches her as she leans back-
Mercedes: -Smiles-
Jesse: -Goes to move back and turns to look at her-
Mercedes: -Turns to look at him and starts to walk over- One step closer.
Jesse: -Walks close-
Mercedes: -Shuffles towards him and then twirls in in his arm-
Jesse: A thousand more.
Mercedes: -Leaves his arms and then walks away-
Jesse: -Keeps singing and then goes to grab her hand, twirling her around before going to dance with her, starting to slow dance with her-
Mercedes: -Rubs his arms and grabs his hands,, backing up-
Jesse: -Goes to stand behind her and then pretends to hold her-
Mercedes: -Imagines herself leaning back before turning to look at him, finishing the song close, dancing slowly, pretending to hold his hands-

Jesse: -Harmonizes with her near the end-
Mercedes: -Imagines the end- Okay, with the ideas I have, I can't do it. -Backs up- Rachel, come here please.
Rachel: -Chuckles before getting up to go help-

Chapter 112.2

After joining him on stage:
Mercedes: Do you know what type of dance I was trying to create Rachel?
Rachel: I think I have an idea. -Walks over to Jesse and smiles, grabbing his hands-
Mercedes: Okay. -Smiles- But you do start apart remember?

Rachel: Right. -Chuckles as she goes to her side of the stage before looking at him-
Mercedes: Ready?
Rachel: Lets try.
Mercedes: -Starts the music-

Rachel: -Listens to the music and walks over to Jesse-
Jesse: -Smiles at her and then stands there- One step closer. -Walks over to her-
Rachel: -Gets in his arms smiling and turns around, laying her head back-
Jesse: -Rubs her arm and then turns her around before grabbing her hand and getting close to her-
Rachel: -Sings with him, putting her hand on his chest as she stands close to him before moving to twirl away-
Jesse: -Sings to her and walks around her, holding her waist-
Rachel: -Looks at him and starts getting a flashback of when she was dancing with Finn the same exact way, starting to tear up before telling Mercedes- To stop. Sorry, I can't. -Runs away crying-
Jesse: -Confused-
Mercedes: -Looks at him- I don't know.
Jesse: I will go talk to her-
Rachel: -Goes to sit in the back of the auditorium, tearing up-

Chapter 113

When Jesse comes to the back:
Rachel: -Sitting in the back, trying not to think about it-
Jesse: -Walks over to her and moves to sit next to her- Rachel, are you okay?
Rachel: No. -Looks at him- Sorry, this is hard for me.
Jesse: What is it sweetie? -Wraps his arm around her before grabbing her hand- You can tell me.
Rachel: The way you grabbed me up there. The auditorium, combination.

Jesse: Rachel, why is that connecting you to Finn? -Goes to grab her neck and turns her head- Tell me baby.
Rachel: The way you held my waist and turned me around. -Looks down- That is how me and Finn danced together for the first time right there in the same exact spot. I can't Jesse. I can't do that dance style. -Lays her head down-
Jesse: -Goes to grab her hand- Want to go home and jut relax? We can lay down in bed, I can hold you, we can do many things. Just tell me and we will go relax.  I will explain to them and they will understand. I promie.
Rachel: I want to go see Michael.
Jesse: -Leans in and goes to grab her neck before kissing her softly- Then we are going to go see Michael. Just sit here okay? I will talk to tell. Then we will go home, relax and be with our friends. Everything will work out fine. I love you Rachel and things will be better. -Kisses her again smiling and then grabs her hand- Just stay here, I will talk to them and then we can go.
Rachel: -Nods and smiles at him-

Chapter 114

 After making his way back:
Jesse: -Goes to grab Rachel's bag, his binder and her binder- Hey guys. Can I talk to you quick?
Mercedes: -Talking to the dancers-
Jesse: Mercedes.
Mercedes: -Turns around to look at him-  What's wrong? -Goes to walk over to him-
Sebastian: -Confused-
Jesse: Me and Rachel have to go okay? She is having some problems right now.
Mercedes: Really, that is just an excuse to go see your son. We need her now and she wants this.
Jesse: -Looks at her and gets a little mad- Just calm down and understand when I say this, we need to go. There is a reason.
Mercedes: -Looks at him-
Jesse: -Goes to whisper- Finn.
Mercedes: Oh, right the auditorium name.
Jesse: Not just that. Remember when I danced with her and twirled her that way?
Mercedes: Ya.
Jesse: Apparently, you danced like that before.
Mercedes: -Puts her hand on her mouth- Oh my god, I totally forgot. I am so sorry. Here, let me talk to her. She needs to know I am sorry.
Jesse: Right now, I just think we need to go home and see Michael. He is at the Evans' place.
Mercedes: Wait, Sam and Quinn came too?
Jesse: They came back for Christmas with his parents and her mom.
Mercedes: Okay. Well, you guys go relax and have a relaxing time.
Jesse: Thank you. -Smiles as he goes to get Rachel on their way home-
